Lovex returns with a new single Lovex, the rock band from Tampere, has silently been preparing their new album, which is already their third. The first single from the new album is called Slave For the Glory and it will be released in digital format on Friday 11.2.2011 all over the world except US on 15th of February. The album, Watch Out!, due to be released in May, has been written by the band members themselves and produced by Christian, the band’s keyboard player. In January 2011 Lovex renewed the recording contract with EMI, who was also in charge for the release of the band’s earlier albums.
„The band wanted a considerable change and we thought that the easiest way to accomplish that would be to write and produce the album by ourselves. Therefore, we didn’t look for producers from outside of the band during the recording process. We composed enough songs for three albums while inhaling fresh influences. Moreover, we were for once able to write an album without any tours, which would have interrupted the album making process. We are really excited about this album and the new contract with EMI. We feel that we have grown up and rediscovered ourselves. Now we’re no longer pretending to be anything else. We do things in a way that is natural for this band and I’m sure that everyone who listens to this album will hear that.“ Theon says.
Lovex is known for big radio hits and as many as five Lovex singles (Guardian Angel, Bleeding, Remorse, Die a Little More, and Anyone Anymore) have risen to the TOP 3 of the Official Finnish single chart. Their debut single Guardian Angel went directly to No. 1 and the „Muuvi“ awarded video for that song also got nominated for the „Emma“ award by IFPI Finland in 2007. Lovex singles have sold more than 12 000 copies in Finland alone. The debut album Divine Insanity has sold more than 20 000 copies bringing the band their first gold record. The album was released in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Japan in 2007. The album reached #20 on the German album list and the single Guardian Angel to #22 on the German single list. In 2008 Lovex released their second album Pretend or Surrender and the first single, Take a Shot, became in Finland the song with the most airplay during April 2008. The band has toured in Europe several times. They have also performed in Japan, where they have visited twice.

Lovex haben ihren neuen Plattenvertrag wieder bei EMI abgeschlossen. Und die erste Single „Slave of Glory“ des neuen Albums „Watch Out!“ erscheint in Februar!
Das neue Album wird laut Vivian in den nächsten 2-3 Tagen fertig sein. Die erste Single erscheint wahrscheinlich um Weihnachten rum.

Die Jungs von POTF schreiben an einem neuen Soundtrack. Mehr ist leider noch nicht bekannt, aber ich melde mich wenn es etwas Neues gibt.
